This year’s theme*, #InspireInclusion*, reminds us that progress thrives when diverse voices are heard and valued. At TWP inclusion isn’t just a principle, it’s embedded in how we build world-class offshore wind projects and how we support the people behind them. We’re shining a spotlight on the women of our Environment and Consents Team who work collectively to advance sustainable energy in Scotland. This dedicated team plays a vital role in navigating the complex regulatory and environmental landscape that underpins every offshore wind development. From engaging with stakeholders and securing planning consents, to ensuring environmental protections and regulatory compliance, their work helps turn wind power ambitions into reality. We’re fortunate to have five fantastic women in this team - leaders, problem-solvers, and collaborators who bring expertise, energy, and integrity to every challenge. Their contributions strengthen our project delivery and enrich our culture every day. While we’re celebrating this particular team, we know there are many remarkable women across TWP from engineering and operations to communications, health & safety, commercial functions and beyond, whose talent and leadership shape who we are and what we achieve. To all the women who help power our company forward… thank you. You inspire us every day. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2026 #InspireInclusion #OffshoreWind #WomenInEnergy ![](https://bowdun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-3.png?width=1296&height=375&name=image-png-3.png) [Kirstin Gove, Head of Communications](https://bowdun.com/blog/author/kirstin-gove-head-of-communications) ## RELATED ARTICLES Button Title [![bowdun-logo-white1-1](https://26573488.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hub/26573488/hubfs/bowdun-logo-white1-1.png?width=300&name=bowdun-logo-white1-1.png)](https://bowdun.com/) **[contact@twp.scot](mailto:contact@twp.scot)**   **0131 557 4884** Office Thistle Wind Partners Capital Building 12-13 St Andrew Square Edinburgh EH2 2AF Explore - [Project](https://bowdun.com/project) - [Supply Chain](https://bowdun.com/supply-chain) - [Community](https://bowdun.com/community) - [Documents](https://bowdun.com/documents) - [About](https://bowdun.com/about) - [News](https://bowdun.com/blog) - [Contact](https://bowdun.com/contact) ![TWP_Landscape_Logo_Colour_web_1200](https://bowdun.com/hs-fs/hubfs/TWP_Landscape_Logo_Colour_web_1200.png?width=200&height=47&name=TWP_Landscape_Logo_Colour_web_1200.png "TWP_Landscape_Logo_Colour_web_1200") [Terms and Conditions](https://thistlewindpartners.scot/terms-and-conditions/) | [Privacy Policy ](https://thistlewindpartners.scot/privacy-policy/) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "Organization", "address" : { "@type" : "PostalAddress", "addressCountry" : "United Kingdom", "addressLocality" : "Edinburgh", "addressRegion" : "Scotland", "postalCode" : "KA3 6AL", "streetAddress" : "Capital Building" }, "knowsLanguage" : "en", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://26573488.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hubfs/26573488/Bowdun%20colour%20Standard.png" }, "name" : "Thistle Wind Partners (TWP)", "url" : "https://bowdun.com/blog/celebrating-international-womens-day-2026" } ``` ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "abstract" : "Celebrating international women's day at TWP with our female consents team.", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Kirstin Gove, Head of Communications" }, "dateModified" : "", "datePublished" : "", "headline" : "Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026", "image" : "https://26573488.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hubfs/26573488/International%20Womens%20Day%20Socials%20%20%281%29.d8ee2e859cfcf6ba245605e84f1e0119-2.jpg", "inLanguage" : "en", "keywords" : "[]", "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@type" : "WebPage" }, "name" : "Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026", "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "" }, "name" : "Thistle Wind Partners (TWP)" }, "text" : "On International Women’s Day 2026, TWP is proud to join organisations around the world in celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women while reaffirming our commitment to equality, inclusion, and opportunity for all.
