Community | Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm

Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm is delighted to offer donations to local groups based in Kincardine & Mearns, with a particular focus on the areas that would host or neighbour our onshore infrastructure.

Priority will be given to projects being undertaken or benefitting the residents of the Kincardine & Mearns Area of Aberdeenshire within the boundaries of the following Community Council areas, Kincardine & Mearns; Gourdon; Benholm & Johnshaven, Arbuthnott, Stonehaven and District; Crathes, Drumoak & Durris, Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar and Royal Borough of Inverbervie.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Supporting the Local Community

This year we are looking to support projects with an Environmental, Coastal and Recreation focus that might include:

• Volunteer beach cleans (gear, skips, Hi -Vis vests etc)
• Path repairs
• Nature conservation
• Habitat restoration
• Supporting improved access to and recreation in our coasts and countryside
